Dear Band Members,
The Annual General Meeting will take place at Croydon Primary School, Crn. Kent Ave. & Croydon Rd. , Croydon 3136 on Wednesday the 15th, July 2018 commencing at 8.30pm.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive the Annual Reports and to elect the Committee for the ensuing Year 2018/2019.
Only fully financial members are eligible to vote. Junior Members under the age of 16 years cannot vote. Junior Members under the age of 18 years cannot hold a position on the Committee.
The Committee is to be comprised of :-
- President
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Administrative Officer
- Quarter Master
- Pipe Bands Victoria Councillor’s (1 & 2)
- Ordinary Members:
Note:- the number of ordinary members as decided by resolution of a general meeting of the band.
Ex-officio Committee members :-
- Pipe Major
- Drum Major
- Drum Sergeant
All current Committee positions will be declared vacant and the above positions be filled from the successful nominations.
If more than one person is nominated for a position, then a secret ballot will be conducted to resolve the successful candidate.
Voting:-
Each Financial Band Member is entitled to one personal vote or one vote by proxy submitted prior to the AGM.
*** Note:- Learners Practice will be conducted from 7.00pm. to 8.00pm.***
